Farleys To Observe Wedding Anniversary

The children of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Farley of Paden City will host an open house to celebrate their parents’ 65th wedding anniversary. The open house will be from 2-4 p.m. on June 11 at the Paden City Senior Citizen Center.
They were married on June 10, 1946, at the Methodist Parsonage in Sistersville by Ottis Snodgrass.
Mrs. Farley is the former Birdiemae Martin, daughter of the late O. Stephen and Bessie Martin of Sistersville.
Paul is the son of the late C. Everett and Fannie Farley of Sistersville.
Paul was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II and retired from PPG Industries after 34 years in the maintenance department.
She worked at C & P Telephone Co. in Sistersville from 1941 to 1951.
They are the parents of Wayne Farley and his wife Beverly of Bridgeport, W.Va., and Ann Farley Barnhart and her husband Henry of Arvilla, W.Va.
They have three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The couple requests no gifts.
