Ray and Liz Stoneking

On May 10, 2011, Ray Sr. and Liz Stoneking of Hundred celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. The couple was married May 10, 1961. Their family surprised them with a party on May 7.

They are the proud parents of: Carman Jackson of Littleton, Jerry (Penny) Hawkins, Harris (Janie) Hawkins, and Ray (Melissa) Stoneking II, all of Hundred, and John (Chris) Stoneking of Waldron, Alaska.

The couple has 15 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren — with four more due this year — to round out the family.

Attending the party were: children Carman Jackson and Carl Rathell, Jerry, Penny, Harris and Janie Hawkins, and Ray and Melissa Stoneking II; grandchildren Steve, Aaron, Amanda, and Melissa Hawkins, Brittany and Todd Varner, Angela Patterson, Ray Stoneking III, and Jae and Nakomha Stoneking; great-grandchildren Victoria, Allison, Aubrie, and Miranda Hawkins, Jasmine, Destiny, and James Patterson, Kinsey and Emma Stoneking, and Amelia Varner.

Also attending were Liz’s sister and brother-in-law, Robert and Barb Schrickingost of Massillion, Ohio.

Special phone calls were made to the couple during the party from those who could not attend the event.

Callers included the couple’s son, John Stoneking, grandchildren Ronald Huston II, Aderean Stoneking, Roy and Joshua Hawkins; and great-grandson Riley Huston.

The couple would like to thank their family for the wonderful party on a wonderful day.
