Susan Roberts, Christopher Humphreys

The parents of Susan Marie Roberts and Christopher Thomas Humphreys announce their engagement and forth-coming marriage.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Doug and Beth Roberts of Moundsville. She is the granddaughter of Glenda Miller of Proctor, Mary Roberts of Athens, Ga., the late Charles Miller Jr., and the late James Roberts.

She is a 1999 graduate of John Marshall High School and a 2004 graduate of the West Virginia University School of Human Resources and Education with a Master of Arts degree in Elementary Education.

She is currently working at Skyview Elementary School in Morgantown as a special educator.

Her fiance is the son of Tom and Donna Humphreys of Bridgeport.

He is the grandson of Lela Reed of Philippi, the late James Reed, and the late Horace and Violet Humphreys of Moatsville.

He is a 1999 graduate of Bridgeport High School and a 2004 graduate of West Virginia University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies.

The couple will be joined in marriage at the Moundsville Baptist Church on June 12.

The couple, their family, and friends will celebrate with a formal reception at Glen Dale Fire Hall in Glen Dale.
