Katherine Ellen Stout and Brian Patrick Anderson were united in marriage at 3:30 p.m. May 31 at the Spruce Street United Methodist Church in Morgantown, W.Va. Officiating the ceremony were Pastor John Allen of the Spruce Street Church and the Rev. Lemoyne Horner of the Antioch Christian Church at Proctor.
The bride is the daughter of Don and Linda Stout of New Martinsville. She is the granddaughter of Dorothy Goddard of New Martinsville and the late Roy Goddard, and the late Roscoe and Pearl Stout of Webster Springs, W.Va.
Parents of the groom are Mary Sue Anderson of Bluefield, W.Va., and the late Mervin G. Anderson Jr. He is the grandson of Edith Kahle of Bluefield and the late Charles Kahle, and Gale Anderson of Bluefield and the late Peggy Anderson.
Attending the bride as maid of honor was Amy Sulsberger, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids included Emily Anderson, sister of the groom; and Beth Childers, Rebecca Heslep, and Tiffany Swiger, friends of the bride. Abigail Stout, niece of the bride, served as flower girl.
Aislinn Goddard and Connor Goddard, cousins of the bride, served as guestbook attendants.
Brock Lusk, friend of the groom, was the best man. Serving as groomsmen were Tim Heckman, Justin Matthews, Josh Rogers, and Luke Thomas, friends of the groom. The ring bearers were Ryan Stout and Dylan Stout, nephews of the bride.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Historic Hotel Morgan in Morgantown.
The bride is a 1999 graduate of Magnolia High School. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism, News Editorial, from the Perley Isaac Reed School of Journalism at West Virginia University in 2003 and her Juris Doctor Degree from the West Virginia University College of Law in 2006.
She works as an associate attorney at Kelley Jasons McGowan Spinelli & Hannah, LLP, in Pittsburgh, Pa.
The groom is a 1998 graduate of Bluefield High School. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Accounting, from the West Virginia University College of Business and Economics in 2002 and his Juris Doctor Degree from the West Virginia University College of Law in 2005.
He works as an associate attorney at K&L Gates LLP, in Pittsburgh, Pa.
Following a Pacific coast honeymoon, the couple now resides in Pittsburgh, Pa.
