DePinhos Celebrate Golden Anniversary

Al and Joy DePinho

Al and Joy DePinho of New Martinsville celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Sept. 16. They were united in marriage in 1958 at the Cape May, N.J., Coast Guard Base by Chaplain Thomas.

Both Al and Joy are retired from their family run business, American Heating & Air Cond., Inc. in Parkersburg. After retiring in 1994, they relocated to Punta Gorda, Fla., until moving back to West Virginia and settling in New Martinsville in 2005.

They now enjoy their three dogs, card games, yard sales, daily walks, and traveling.

Al and Joy are the parents of three sons and one daughter. The family includes Donna Ferrell and her husband Brent of Proctor; Al DePinho III and his wife Lee Ann of Fort Myers, Fla.; Chaplain David DePinho and his wife Martha of Alabama; and Daniel DePinho and his wife Brandi of Pennsboro, W.Va. They have 11 grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and one great-grandchild on the way.

They were honored with a dinner with their family.
