Mr. and Mrs. Philip Gary Cypher

Amanda Corinne Archer and Philip Gary Cypher were united in marriage on July 5 at St. Johns University Parish in Morgantown. Deacon Steve Olenchock and Pastor David Tosi officiated.

Parents of the bride are Craig and Jennifer Archer of New Martinsville and Eric and Judy Blystone of St. Robert, Mo. Parents of the groom are Gary and Yolanda Cypher of Butler, Pa.

Matron of honor was Emily Hoffman, friend of the bride. Maid of honor was Devon Revels, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Manon Cypher, sister of the groom; Racheal Butera, friend of the bride; Dee Derine, friend of the bride; and Jessica Weasemforth, friend of the bride.

Best man was Andrew Cypher, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Matthew Cypher, brother of the groom; Mike Clark, friend of the groom; Chris Sklar, friend of the groom; and Roger Collins, friend of the groom.

Ushers were Zachary Archer, Cameron Archer, and Brandon Blystone, brothers of the bride.

The bride is a 2001 graduate of Magnolia High School and a 2005 graduate of West Virginia University with a bachelor’s degree in music education. She also graduated in 2007 with a master’s degree in elementary education. She is employed by Prince George County School District in Prince George, Va., were she teaches first grade.

The groom is a 2003 graduate of Butler High School and a 2007 graduate of WVU with a bachelor’s degree in music education. He is employed by Prince George School District in Prince George County where he teaches K-5 music.

Following the ceremony, family and friends celebrated with the bride and groom at a reception held at the Ramada Inn in Morgantown. After a honeymoon trip to Ireland, the couple resides in Hopewell, Va.
