Wetzel County Autumn Fest to Start tomorrow
The Annual Wetzel County Autumn Fest is ready to kick off once again as the event starts preliminary activity on Thursday, with camper set ups beginning at 1 p.m. cost for camping will be $15 per night.
Beginning at 3 p.m. early set up will take place for food, vendor, crafts, produce, flea market, and other activities.
Friday will officially open the festival starting at 8 a.m. with and all you can eat breakfast benefiting the FFA and served in the Mollohan center ending at 10 a.m.
8 a.m. will show the Antique tractor and engines. For early setup contact chairwoman Billie Zimmerman at 304-771-8435.
Entires for the pumpkin decorating contest will begin a t 10 a.m. Adult 18 and up, teen 13-17, and children 1-12 categories. $1 a vote to win
At 11 a.m. there will be opening ceremonies with the flag raising by the New Martinsville American Legion Post 28 and National Anthem by the Paden City Marching Band.
“Welcome to the 2021 Wetzel County Autumn Fest” Complimentary Cake will be served following the ceremonies.
Power Country 99.5 will have Radio Remote w/prizes from 1p.m. to 3 p.m.
Starting at 6:30 p.m. will be the Childrens Pageant – Toddler Miss and Mister, Little Miss and Mister, Prince and Princess located at the stage area. Weather and temperature permitting.

At 7 p.m. the Remedy Band will perform at the stage area, weather permitting.
Daily drawing will be held at 8 p.m. and the grounds will close at 9 p.m.
Saturday events will again have the all-you-can-eat breakfast from 8-10 a.m. with the breakfast buffett served at the Mollohan Center, benefiting the FFA. Robby Adams is chariman 681-215-7845.

Things to do: Light Saber Duels at 11 a.m.; Inflatables 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Train Rides Begin at 11 a.m.; Dino-Roar Show at 12 noon; Oh’ Snap Photo Booth from 12 to 6 p.m.; Back in the day show Band starting at 12 p.m.; ATV Drag Races at the track area beginning at 1 p.m. $5 admission fee, must have wrist band.

Sunday activities kick off with the Motorcross Registration from 9-12; Car, Truck, and Bike show registration is from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. with awards at 1:30 p.m. Josh Stillwagonor 304-815-1441 chairman.

Other activities on the day include: Inflatables fro noon to 4 p.m.; Train Rides begining at noon; Oh’ snap photo booth from noon to 4; Motorcross Racing at the track area at 1 p.m. with a $5 admission fee, must have a wrist band.
