Wetzel County Grand Jury Returns 20 Indictments

The September term of the Wetzel County Grand Jury saw 15 individuals charged in 20 separate Indictments.

James Skylar Barnhart, 30, of 640 Maple Ave, Apt #4, New Martinsville, was charged by the grand jury with three separate felony counts of delivery of a controlled narcotic substance Heroin, delivery of a controlled narcotic substance fentanyl, and conspiracy to deliver a controlled narcotic substance heroin. The charges are alleged to have occurred in Wetzel County on or about April 1, 2021.

Bryan Ray Bassett, 32, of Ten Mile Road, New Martinsville, WV, is charged in a three count indictment by the grand jury with two felony counts and one misdemeanor count, all alleged to have occurred on or about April 4, 2020 in Wetzel County.

Bassett is charged with fleeing from an officer with reckless intent a felony, third or subsequent offense of driving while revoked for DUI, a felony, and improper motor vehicle registration a misdemeanor.

Courtney S. Blair, 33, of 100 Willow Brook Dr, Apt 51, Parkersburg, WV, is charged in a two count felony indictment by the grand jury. The crimes are alleged to have occurred on or about March 16, 2021, in Wetzel County. Count one of the indictment alleges Blair committed the felony offense of delivery of a controlled narcotic substance heroin. Count two alleges the felony offense of delivery of a controlled narcotic substance fentanyl.

Travis Jarvis Eddy, III, 25, of 45 Adams Street, Lot 5, Morgantown (Westover), WV, has been indicted by the Wetzel County grand jury in a two count felony indictment alleging the felony offense of grand larceny and the felony offense of fleeing in a vehicle from a law enforcement officer. Both charges are said to have occurred on or about October 20, 2020, in Wetzel County.

Randy Linn Fordyce, 40, of 6948 Low Gap Road, Littleton, WV, is charged by the grand jury in a two count felony indictment.

The crimes are alleged to occurred on or about July 1, 2021. in Wetzel County. The indictment charges Fordyce with the felony offense of Burglary and the felony offense of grand larceny.

Justin Gregory Headley, 36, of Shortline Highway, HC 19 Box 87, Jacksonburg, WV, is charged in two separate two count indictments. He is charged with the felony offense of attempted entry of a building other than a dwelling and the misdemeanor offense of attempted petty larceny both alleged to have occurred on January 8, 2021 in Wetzel County. In a separate indictment he is charged with the felony offense of Burglary and the misdemeanor offense of petty larceny both offenses are alleged to have occurred on or about January 9, 2021 in Wetzel County.

Cole Michael Mullett, 29, of 509 Martin Ave., New Martinsville, WV, is charged by the grand jury in a four count felony indictment. The crimes are alleged to have occurred on or about September 30, 2020, in Wetzel County. Count one of the indictment charges Mullett with delivery of a controlled substance methamphetamine, count two alleges the felony offense of delivery of a controlled narcotic substance fentanyl, count three charges the felony offense of gross child neglect creating a substantial risk of death or serious bodily injury. Count four of the indictment also charges Mullett with the felony offense of child neglect creating a substantial risk of death of serious bodily injury.

Jacob Tanner Norris, 30, of 291 Locust Street, New Martinsville, WV, is charged in a two count felony indictment from the grand jury.

The indictment charges Norris with the alleged felony crimes of delivery of a controlled narcotic substance heroin, and the delivery of a controlled narcotic substance fentanyl.

Both charges are alleged to have occurred on or about July 30, 2019, in Wetzel County.

Courtney Amanda Raber, 31, of 28 Rose Street Lot 12S, New Martinsville, WV, is charged in a four count felony indictment handed down by the grand jury. The crimes are all alleged to have occurred on or about March 11, 2021, in Wetzel County.

Count one charges possession of a controlled narcotic substance heroin with intent to deliver. Count two charges possession of a controlled narcotic substance fentanyl with intent to deliver. Count three charges gross child neglect creating a substantial risk of death or serious bodily injury. Count four charges gross child neglect creating a substantial risk of death or serious bodily injury.

Kerry Lynn Sands, 37, of 2867 Mountaineer Highway, New Martinsville, WV, is charged by the grand jury with four felony offense all alleged to have occurred in Wetzel County on or about June 8, 2021.

Count one of the indictment charges Sands with possession of a controlled narcotic substance heroin with intent to deliver. Count two charges her with possession of a controlled narcotic substance fentanyl with intent to deliver. Count three of the indictment charges her with gross child neglect creating a substantial risk of death or serious bodily injury. Count four also charges her with the felony offense of gross child neglect creating a substantial risk of death or serious bodily injury.

Daniel Patrick Snyder, 48, of 52598 Schubach Addition, Hannibal, Ohio, is charged by the Wetzel County grand jury in a one count felony indictment of third or subsequent offense driving revoked for DUI. The alleged offense is said to have occurred on or about August 21, 2021, in Wetzel County, WV.

Bradford Keith Stoner, 58, of 732 American Ridge Road, New Martinsville, WV, is charged in three separate indictments handed down by the grand jury. The first indictment charges Stoner with the felony offense of delivery of a controlled substance methamphetamine.

The alleged crime is said to have occurred on or about March 4, 2021, in Wetzel County.

The second indictment charges Stoner with the felony offense of conspiracy to deliver a controlled substance methamphetamine.

The crime is alleged to have occurred in Wetzel County, on or about April 14,2021. The third indictment against Stoner charges him with the felony offense of possession of a controlled substance methamphetamine with intent to deliver. It is alleged to have occurred on or about June 4, 2021, in Wetzel County.

Gina Louise Stoner, 59, of 732 American Ridge Road, New Martinsville, WV, is charged in two separate indictment by the grand jury of Wetzel County. The first indictment charges her with two felony offenses of delivery of a controlled substance methamphetamine, and conspiracy to deliver a controlled substance methamphetamine. Both alleged crimes are said to have occurred on or about April 14, 2021 in Wetzel County.

The second indictment of Stoner charges her with the felony offense of possession of a controlled substance methamphetamine with intent to deliver.

John Ross Taylor, 37, of Cindy Drive, New Martinsville, WV, was indicted by the grand jury in a three count indictment of one felony offense and two misdemeanor charges. The first indictment accuses Taylor of the felony offense of Burglary alleged to have occurred on or about September 8, 2020, in Wetzel County. The second indictment against Taylor alleges he committed the misdemeanor crime of assault on or about September 8, 2020, in Wetzel County. The third indictment accuses him of the misdemeanor offense of destruction of property alleged to have occurred on or about September 8, 2020, in Wetzel County.

Charles Zachery Wells, 31, of 509 Martin Ave., New Martinsville, WV, was indicted by the grand jury on two felony counts of Delivery of a controlled substance methamphetamine and delivery of a controlled narcotic substance fentanyl. Both crimes are alleged to have occurred in Wetzel County on or about September 30, 2020.

Jeremy Keith White, 34, of 100 Vancamp Street, Paden City, WV, was indicted by the grand jury in a three count indictment alleging the felony offense of stangulation, and two misdemeanor charges of domestic battery and petty larceny.

All three offenses are alleged to have occurred on or about June 12, 2021, in Wetzel County.
