Hummel Announces sentences
William Cody Loy appeared alongside Co-Defendant Brooke Alexis Morris for sentencing on September 2. Previously, Loy and Morris entered guilty pleas to delivery of a controlled substance. Loy was sentenced alternatively to the Anthony Corrections Facility with supervised probation if Loy completes his sentence. Morris was sentenced to incarceration with probation after six months and drug court.
Lawrence Plavi, 40, entered a Kennedy plea on September 2 for attempted burglary. Plavi was willing to serve any possible sentencing, but assured Judge Hummel he was looking into rehabilitation. Plavi was discharged from the West Virginia Division of Corrections and Rehabilitation with a $500 fine; other counts were dismissed.
James Dean Wade, 50, entered a guilty plea on September 2 for driving while license revoked. Wade was sentenced alternatively with one to three years home confinement.
Robert White Jr., 48, entered a guilty plea on September 2 for driving while license revoked – DUI. White was sentenced one to three years home confinement with other counts dismissed.
