The 2021 Paden City Labor Day Parade was a success with a large crowd turnout and impressive line up of bands and floats. Paden City High School, Magnolia High School and Tyler Consolidated High School made their way down Route 2 along with several pageant winners, labor unions and politicians, including U.S.Representative David McKinley, WV State Senator Charles Clements, and WV House Representative David Pethtel DeWayne Spaw, country music entertainer, also made his way back to Paden City this year. Fire Departments from all over the county followed behind, marking the end of the parade.

However, the fun didn’t stop there; The City Park was filled with lots of activities for all ages, including live entertainment, inflatables for the kids, as well as a bungee trampoline and rock climbing wall. The Paden City Fire Department were also serving fish sandwiches at their famous fish fry following the parade.
