Arts in the Park

It has been two years since the community had the opportunity to gather and celebrate our country’s birthday. The 4th of July 2020 found the park quiet and no one gathering in public due to pandemic concerns. But this July, those wishing to celebrate once again had the opportunity to visit with others, purchase crafts and gifts while enjoying the annual activities.

As is typical, kid’s games were a highlight for many of the town’s young visitors. Balloon craftsman and hide and go seek inside a cloud of bubbles were just a couple of the afternoon’s events. Danny Westfall returned once again to the enjoyment of all with his famous balloon wagon.

All who attend had the opportunity to sign up for a raffle of gifts that was held. Popsicles and hot dogs were the food of choice on this perfect summer afternoon. And best of all, it was free to all that attended. The annual event is sponsored by ArtsLink.
