Magistrate Charge Results In Forfeited Teaching License

Adam Croasmun, 25, of Paden City, a former teacher in Wetzel County schools, entered into a plea agreement in Tyler County Magistrate Court on Wednesday May 19, and pleaded guilty to making an obscene phone call. He agreed to forfeit his teaching license. According to the office of the Tyler County Prosecuting Attorney, Croasmun will never be allowed to teach again.

He was fined $500.00 and sentenced to six months in jail. The jail sentence was suspended and he was placed on one year of unsupervised probation. Croasmun is a former Special Ed. teacher at the New Martinsville School in New Martinsville.
