The second annual Chili open golf scramble was held on October 17, 2020 at Sistersville Country Club. The tournament is a fund raiser for Sistersville High School Alumni and the Roy C Heinlein Scholarship Program. It was a beautiful day and we welcomed 72 golfers. Three flight winners were Championship Flight – The Elks team – Corey Bohrer, Emil Hissam, Jeff Howard, and Nathan Anderson. Second Flight winner was composed of Dave Hohn, Mark Moore, Jeff Hohn, and Tim Estep. Third Flight Winner was Randy Rutherford, Dana Johnson, Paul Howlett, and Kent Watkins.

Food provided included Spicy Chili, Regular Chili, White Chicken Chili and Daves Famous T&L Hot Dogs with sauce. Skill prizes for closest to the pin and a new event this year was the golf ball drop.

Players and the public purchased numbered golf balls and they were dropped over the 9th hole from a tractor bucket. The 3 balls closest to the flag were cash prize winners. There was also a prize for the ball that traveled the farthest form the hole. The tournament was a huge success and plans are already in progress for next year.
