Anderson and Smith Get Married In Beautiful Private Ceremony
Victoria Silver Anderson and Donald Lee Smith III (AKA Trey) were united in marriage Saturday, September 5, 2020 in a small private outdoor ceremony at the groom’s home in Reader, WV, with a few family and close friends in attendance. Pastor Josh Bates and Evangelist Marty Coffey were the officiants for the double ring ceremony.
Parents of the bride are Nancy Nine of New Martinsville and Jon Anderson of Trenton, Ohio. Grandparents of the bride are Danny and Sue Anderson and Bill and Susie Cecil all of Paden City. Great grandparents of the bride are Wilma Anderson and the late Bob Anderson of Paden City and Mitzi Cecil and the late Floyd Cecil of Proctor, WV. Parents of the groom are Donnie and Cshawn Smith of Reader, WV. Grandmothers of the groom are the late Chloe Anderson and the late Georgia Smith both from Pine Grove.
Bridesmaids were Allysa Culp, Sara Wright, Kayla Hizer Semple, Lauren Anderson, and Stella Anderson. Groomsmen were Jared Arnolds, Justin Carter, Tyler Williams, Kale Lloyd, and Travis Slater. Flower girl was Paisley Bartrug. Ringbearer was Jobe Anderson.
The bride is a graduate of West Liberty University with a degree in Criminal Justice and is employed by CASA as a special advocate for abused and neglected children in Wetzel and Tyler counties. The groom is a graduate of Belmont College with a degree in Industrial Electronics Technology and is employed by Mon Power as a meter technician.
A larger celebration is planned for next year when COVID-19 is not a threat.
