River’s Dennis, Magnolia’s Snyder Earn Weekly Honors
Isaac Snider, a junior at Magnolia, has been selected as Athlete of the Week. As Magnolia Boys Soccer season closed-out Monday October 21, 2019, Snider ended the season leading the team with 16 goals. Isaac is a 4.0 student. He was selected to attend the Institute for Sciences and Technology’s summer institute in Boston as a sophomore. He was part of the group of Magnolia students that toured Ireland this past summer. Snider is a life-guard at the Lewis Wetzel Pool, is an instructor for Soccer Sunday where young children are introduced to soccer, plays some drum and some piano and loves to work with his 3-D Printer. He says he, and his teammates, would like to encourage other boys to join the Blue Eagles’ soccer team. There are six juniors, three sophomores and four freshmen. The team will begin in January, on their own, to prepare for the 2020 Season. Snider says the goal is to bring a winning season to Magnolia High School’s Boys Soccer Program. Snider is one of the team’s captains.
