New Martinsville’s newest business opened it’s doors to the public recently, and on Thursday, July 25, the Wetzel Chamber of Commerce welcomed Farmhouse Treasures to the area with a ribbon cutting ceremony.

Located at 269 North Street in New Martinsville, Farmhouse Treasures offers a sizable selection of handcrafted items for your home. Lisa Kelley is owner and proprietor of the business and says she is excited by the response she’s received from the community. Many of the items you see hanging on the walls and on display in the business were made by Kelley herself. She said she has been flirting with the idea of opening her own shop and when the opportunity arrived she decided to follow her dream. During the ribbon cutting ceremony, the business celebrated with a drawing for gifts and offered refreshments to those in attendance. Kelley invites everyone to stop by and browse through her shop where they will be sure to find that special treasure.
