A minivan collided with the southeast exterior corner of the Wetzel Chronicle Friday afternoon, Feb. 22 at around 2:30 p.m. The driver of the minivan reported she lost the function of her brakes.

There were no injuries as a result of the accident.

New Martinsville Police Department, New Martinsville Volunteer Fire Department, Wetzel County EMS, and Valley Towing responded to the accident.

The car sustained damages and was towed from the scene, while the southeast exterior corner of the Wetzel Chronicle received damage.
