Aliff, Schilling Are Rotary Students

MORGAN ALIFF & CALEB SCHILLING
Morgan Aliff and Caleb Schilling have been selected as the New Martinsville Rotary Students of the Month for January.
Aliff is the daughter of Cindy and Frank Aliff of New Martinsville. She possesses a 4.10 grade point average and has been a member of the National Honor Society, Science National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, and Relay for Life.
Other endeavors of Morgan’s include Sources of Strength, peer tutoring, student mentor, student council, Gabriel Project, prom committee, homecoming committee, and senior committee.
Morgan participated in volleyball her freshman, sophomore, and junior years. She participated in basketball her freshman year and softball her sophomore year. During her sophomore and junior years she made the Math Field Day team. She was named to the All-State academic team her freshman, sophomore, and junior years, and she was selected for Girls State her junior year.
For her senior year Morgan has served as captain of the soccer team and was chosen to participate in the American Math Competition.
Morgan has attended Proctor Christian Church, and her other community activities include her work with the Gabriel Project and Relay for Life. She has also served as a bell ringer for the Salvation Army.
Future aspirations for Morgan include attending West Virginia University or West Liberty University, where she will study nursing, followed by med school. Morgan is currently eligible for the Promise Scholarship.
Caleb Schilling is the son of Brandy Beisel and James Mitchell. He has participated in the National Honors Society, Science National Honors Society, Mu Alpha Theta, Sources of Strength, and Drug Free Club. Schilling has also served as a student mentor, and he has been a member of the soccer team and was named to the All-Conference academic team. He has participated in Relay for Life and enjoys sports and fishing.
Schilling hopes to attend West Liberty University where he will study business management. He is currently eligible for the Promise Scholarship.
