The Town of Hundred has a new addition, thanks to Hundred High School’s art teacher, Gabi Cooper, along with her students and other volunteers.

The town of Hundred has a unique addition thanks to the hard work of many. According to Hundred High School’s art instructor, Gabi Cooper, a Little Free Library has been installed in the town.

Cooper said the library was created in the Hundred High School art room and took several months to create. Cooper said “MANY” individuals had a hand in the library’s creation, including many of the students at HHS.

Cooper also credits Hundred Lumber and Wissmach Glass for donating supplies.

According to the website, Todd H. Bol was the first to built a Little Free Library in 2009. Bol then founded a nonprofit with the goal of “inspiring readers and strengthening communities.”

Folks may visit the Little Free Library to borrow a book to read, and they are certainly encouraged to donate books as well.
