Relay For Life of Wetzel County will be held Friday, June 15. The event will start at 5 p.m. and end at 1 a.m. Survivor reception will begin at 5 p.m. The following is the schedule of events:

4-5 p.m. – Teams can set up campsite (or anytime evening before or during the day)

5 p.m. – Survivor reception

5:30-6 p.m. – Opening ceremony (estimated 15 minutes)

6:15-7:15 p.m. – Pickin’ Daisies

7:15-8 p.m. – Purse Auction (Mr. Relay and Road to Recovery cars)

8-9 p.m. – Silver Eagle Band

9-9:30 p.m. – Recognize team captains. Thanks to stage people, bands, sound.

9:30-9:45 p.m. – Luminaria Ceremony

10-11 p.m. – Fun activities (frozen t-shirt, pie eating, crown Mr. Relay. Money for Mr. Relay and cars turned in to be counted)

11 p.m. to midnight – Ben Tharp

midnight to 1 a.m. – Closing, fight back, awards to campsites, announce money, final lap, and clean-up.)
