Stolen Bike Is Recovered

A 2014 Harley Davidson bike stolen at New Martinsville’s Walmart parking lot on April 22 has been recovered.

The New Martinsville Police Department released the news April 25, noting the bike was recovered in Cross Lanes, W.Va.

According to NMPD, police are now looking for a suspect, Tylor Sheets. Sheets is from Pt. Pleasant, but is believed to be in Cross Lanes.

NMPD asked for those with information on Sheets’ whereabouts to call NMPD at 304-455-9100 or the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Department at 304-357-0191.

NMPD thanked the local community for being on the lookout for the bike “and staying aware.” The department also thanked social media users who shared the department’s social media post regarding the stolen bike.

This bike had been stolen at New Martinsville's Walmart parking lot on April 22. It has since been recovered, but police are still looking for a suspect in the case.

NMPD further thanked the owner of the bike, for remaining patient with the department while it worked on the case.

The bike, a 2014 Harley Davidson Ultra Limited, had been stolen at the Walmart parking lot at around 7:45 p.m., April 22.
