The 22nd Annual Sons of the American Legion Fishing Derby is Saturday, April 28, and Dominion Energy Transmission Inc. Supply Header Project is helping to ensure every area youngster has the opportunity to reel in some fun.

The Dominion Energy Inc. Supply Header Project donated $1,000 to buy fishing poles for the child participants. Additional poles were donated by Hastings Operation.

The fishing derby begins at 10 a.m. with registration starting at 9 a.m. The derby is located at the Pine Grove Byrd Center, and all fishing regulations apply.
