Gabriel Project’s Second Annual Angel Sheet Project Set

Wetzel County’s Gabriel Project is planning it second annual Angel Sheet project, scheduled for Tuesday, April 10. All skill levels are accepted and needed to make crib sheets for the Gabriel Project. Those who are interested in cutting fabric, sewing, or ironing are asked to send Linda Barth a Private Message on Facebook, or contact her by phone at 304-398-4156. Last year, 15 women made 51 sheets in one day.

Furthermore, Barth and the Gabriel Project are accepting donations of fabric, elastic, or money/gift cards to purchase fabric or this endeavor.

“We had a great day last year!” Barth said.

Wetzel County’s Gabriel Project location is at 515 Maple Avenue in New Martinsville.

Families or single parents who may be in need of financial assistance are encouraged to stop by for tangible needs such as safe cribs, secure car seats, diapers, formula, clothing, and hygiene products at a low or no cost rate to the client.

The Gabriel Project also wants to provide emotional support, information about child care, and they even make referrals to other social service organizations.

Hours of operation for The Gabriel Project will be every Tuesday and Thursday, noon to 4 p.m. and also every third Saturday of the month, noon to 4 p.m. at the building location.
