Sheriff Koontz said that, through the information, Corporal Spragg was able to obtain and execute search warrant at a particular residence in Smithfield.
The Wetzel County Sheriff’s Office, along with a member of the West Virginia State Police, were able to execute the search warrant. As a result, three individuals were arrested, and approximately 17 grams of methamphetamine, with a street value of more than $2,000, was seized.
“There are other drug arrest and charges pending as a result of this investigation,” Koontz said.
