Dawson Arrested For Malicious Wounding

New Martinsville Police Chief Tim Cecil has reported that Albert Dawson, 34, has been caught by law enforcement and will be taken to Northern Regional Jail.
Cecil said Dawson was picked up at Wal-Mart in Moundsville by Marshall County Sheriff’s Department.
Cecil said Dawson has been charged with daytime burglary and malicious wounding.
Dawson’s arrest comes after a search by law enforcement that has taken place since yesterday afternoon (July 19).
Around 3 p.m., a gentleman was stabbed at AAA mobile home park on Rose Street in New Martinsville. Dawson was wanted in connection with the stabbing.
The victim is currently at OVMC, where he was expected to undergo surgery. No information has not been released on his condition.
Chief Cecil said the stabbing was an isolated incident.

The stabbing occurred around 3 p.m., July 19. The victim of the stabbing was transported to Ohio Valley Medical Center for surgery.
The stabbing is believed to be an isolated incident.

New Martinsville Police Chief Tim Cecil, and fellow officers, are searching for a man involved in a Wednesday afternoon stabbing that occurred at the AAA mobile home park on Rose Street in New Martinsville.
The chief said the incident involved two individuals and occurred around 3 p.m. The victim of the stabbing was transported to Ohio Valley Medical Center for surgery.
As of 7 p.m., Wednesday, law enforcement had been unable to locate the man allegedly responsible.
