Hundred, Pine Grove Hold Elections
Residents of Hundred and Pine Grove allowed their voices to be heard Tuesday, June 13 as each town held elections for mayor and council.
In the town of Pine Grove, Barbara King won the seat for mayor with a total of 44 votes. John Haught had garnered 31 votes, while Larry Huggins saw 23 votes in his favor.
For council, the votes cast were as follows:
Eva Adams, 25; Cindy Figler, 83; Brent Vanderhoff, 53; Stacy Judge, 52; Cindy Roberts, 39; John Hurst, 34; Casey Pingley, 71; Richard Price, 50; and Robin Wadsworth, 28.
Rhonda Spencer, who ran unopposed for the Recorder seat, garnered 83 votes.
Over the hill in Hundred, Charles Sine captured the mayor seat with 47 votes cast in his favor. Donna Himelrick garnered 37 votes.
Recorder Sherry A. Hayes, running unopposed for Recorder, received 67 votes.
The council race shaped out as follows:
Johanna Lemasters, 57; Chip Goff, 67; Bert Anderson, 54; Keith Williams (Write-In), 30; and Trina Fetty (Write-In), 27.
