New Martinsville bridge reopens after closure

NEW MARTINSVILLE – A logging truck accident caused traffic to be re-routed this afternoon away from the bridge across the Ohio River linking New Martinsville and Monroe County, Ohio. The bridge reopened shortly before 2 p.m.

Police and first responders redirected traffic at about 12:30 p.m. away from the bridge.

West Virginia State Police and Monroe County 911 Dispatch did not know when the bridge would re-open to traffic.
