10 Are Indicted By Jury
The May 2016 Wetzel County Grand Jury recently returned 9 indictments, containing18 true bills. Defendants will return to court, under the Honorable Judge Jeffrey Cramer, on March 31 for arraignment.
Timothy John Judge, 34, of 1810 Tyler Highway, Sistersville, received two indictments from the grand jury.
One indictment contains one count of transferring stolen goods, to have occurred November 20, 2015. This count alleges that Judge transferred a camouflage compound hunting bow and an RCBS reloading press, having a cumulative value of more than $1,000 to The Trading Post in Pine Grove. The indictment alleges that Judge knew these items had been stolen.
A separate, two-count indictment charges Judge with two counts of failure to update sex offender registry information – second offense.
One count alleges that Judge did not register with the WV State Police three days after being released from incarceration.
His second count alleges that he did not report a new vehicle or change of vehicle.
Kaley Edgell, 32, of HC 68 Box 30, Hundred, received a one-count indictment charging her with delivery of af controlled narcotic substance (buprenorphine). This offense allegedly occurred on or about February 11, 2015.
Corey Michael Klug, 19, of 343 Locust Street, New Martinsville, and Devin Cole McCaman, 18, of Route 2 Box 501, New Martinsville, were each charged with entry of a building other than a dwelling, felony destruction of property, and petit larceny. These offenses are to have occurred on or about June 4, 2015 when the two allegedly broke into Magnolia High School.
Anthony Brian Winans, 24, of Post Office Box 248, Pine Grove, received two indictments, each containing a charge of forgery and uttering.
One indictment alleges that Winans forged the signature of another onto a check, made payable to Walmart in the amount of $505.55. Winans then uttered this check, which was cashed at Walmart.
Winans’ other indictment alleges that he forged the signature of another onto a check, made payable to “Cash” in the amount of $50, which he then uttered and cashed at Simon’s Market.
Willard J. Loy, 56, of 134 Thompson Drive, New Martinsville, received a one-count indictment charging him with delivery of a controlled substance (methamphetamine). This offense allegedly occurred on or about August 24, 2015.
Logan Drew Wade, 19, of 524 Briarcliff Court, New Martinsville, received a one-count indictment charging him with possession of a controlled substance (marijuana) with intent to deliver, to haveo ccurred on or about March 18.
Jeffrey Keith Smith, 37, of PO Box 483, Reader, received a one count indictment, charging him with possession of a controlled substance (marijuana), with intent to deliver. This offense allegedly occurred on or about April 2, 2016.
Michael Richard Martin, 25, of 538 Martin Avenue, New Martinsville, received a one count indictment charging him with third offense shoplifting, to have occurred on or about April 13, 2016.
