Every Child Matters – April 27
One of the great aspects of the Child Advocacy Center is that ALL of our services are provided free of charge to our clients, including family advocacy, forensic interviews, mental health referrals and prevention programs. In 2015 alone, we served 28 children and their non-offending caregivers. Our prevention program served over 600 children and over 80 adults.
To continue to provide these critical services to abused children and their families in Wetzel and Tyler Counties, we rely on private donors for a large portion of the funds. The core of that support comes from the community of individuals, businesses, and organizations who make annual unrestricted gifts.
Help us continue to fight child abuse in our community by getting involved with our Child Advocacy Center. There are a number of ways to get connected.
* volunteer your time at events and fundraisers
* make a one-time, monthly, or quarterly donation
* donate new or gently used children’s books
* sponsor a donation drive or have T-shirt day at your place of business
* spread the word about our events and our center
* like us on Facebook or visit our website
We know that we cannot do this work alone, and we are incredibly grateful to our donors for your support. Your gift helps to support and sustain the valuable programs which the Lighthouse Child Advocacy Center provides, ensuring that abused children in the area have access to our caring and compassionate services.
If you are interested in providing support to aid the child victims of abuse in our area, please contact me, by phone at (304) 337-2120, by email at firstname.lastname@example.org, or visit our website at www.thelighthousecac.org.
