After a great showing last year of more than 50 members, the Paden City Wildcat Alumni Spirit Band is set to take to the parade route and Berger Field once again this year. On Friday, Oct. 9 during Paden City’s annual homecoming game against Toronto High School, the band will assemble to perform.

This year’s PC Alumni Spirit Band theme is “Bridging Generations of Wildcats” and will feature the Alumni Band in conjunction with the PCHS Band for the homecoming parade, pre-game ceremonies, and football game.

Any former PCHS Band member is welcome to perform and participate in a portion or all three parts of the alumni band homecoming festivities. Alumni Band members participating in the parade will meet at 5:45 p.m. at St. Paul’s UMC and anyone who does not wish to participate in the parade may meet the band in front of the school after the parade to play for pre-game or simply join the band in the bleachers for the game. The school has several instruments (drums, wind instruments, flags/rifles) that are available for any band member that needs to borrow an instrument. Anyone participating should send an email with their name and instrument to pcalumniband

@yahoo.com so that music can be copied and prepared. If you need to borrow an instrument, please include that in your email. You may also call (304) 337-2266 and ask to speak to Band Director Debra Price.

Additional information and updates are available on the Paden City Wildcat Band Alumni & Friends Facebook Page.
