Man Arrested For Selling Son’s Pills

Robert Eugene Nolan Jr., 31, of 187 North State Route 2 Apt. D201, New Martinsville, was arrested and charged Aug. 17 with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance (Adderall)
The Wetzel County magistrate report states that based on New Martinsville Police Department Detective Donnie Harris’ observation, Nolan drove into the Peebles’ parking lot, exited his truck, and entered the car of a confidential informant. The two individuals were in the vehicle for a brief time and then both left. NMPD Chief Tim Cecil stated that after Nolan left, NMPD initiated a traffic stop on him at The Villas. After being mirandized, Nolan allegedly confessed he sold the informant three Adderall pills. Furthermore, the defendant had marked money on him from the buy.
Detective Harris confiscated the pills, identified as Adderall, Nolan had obtained from his son’s prescription.
Cecil stated that Harris, along with Patrolman Michael Owens, Patrolman Jason Utt, and himself were all part of the bust.
