Tuesday evening the Wetzel County Board of Education held a special meeting for a student expulsion hearing.

After the closed hearing, the board reconvened in open session, where they chose to uphold Superintendent Dennis Albright’s recommendations to expel the student through the end of the 2013-2014 school year, for violating the Safe Schools Act, State Board of Education Policy 4373 (Student Code of Conduct), and Wetzel County Board of Education Policy “JFC” (Student Code of Conduct).
