On Aug. 16, Wetzel County Coalition Against Drug Abuse members Brandi Murray and Beth Glow presented Wetzel County Sheriff’s Department deputies with a plaque honoring the department for their commitment to fighting drug abuse in Wetzel County.
Sheriff John Brookover said he appreciated the honor “very much.”
“The Wetzel County Sheriff’s Office is fortunate to have people like Brandi Murray and Beth Glow to head up these coalitions,” agreed Deputy Randy Adams. “We are more than happy to assist them with their coalition needs,” he said.
“We are pleased with the participation and cooperation from the sheriff’s department,” stated Murray. She referenced the participation of the sheriff’s department in the most recent drug takeback, when 58 pounds of unwanted drugs were taken in. “We are very happy to work with the sheriff’s department. They have been very instrumental.”
