During their regular Tuesday morning meeting, Wetzel County Commissioners accepted a $20,925 bid from Bridgeport Equipment and Tool for a 38 KW Generator for the Office of Emergency Management. The main purpose of this generator would be for use at shelters during power outages.

Office of Emergency Management Director Ed Sapp confirmed that a $27,000 grant was received by the OEM, which will pay for this generator, along with a trailer for its transport. Cots were also purchased.
