New Martinsville Police Chief Tim Cecil has reported that two individuals were arrested in conjunction with Monday morning’s incident on Kappel Street, New Martinsville.

Cecil stated that both Brandon Cole Walters, 28, and Dustin Todd Kendall, 30, were arrested yesterday as the result of an effort amongst the Tyler County Sheriff’s Department, West Virginia State Police, and the New Martinsville Police Department. Both individuals are charged with nighttime burglary and are located at the North Central Regional Jail. Bond has been set at $100,000 each.

Furthermore, Cecil said the victims of Monday’s incident, a male and female, have both since been released from the hospital. The two suffered minor injuries.
