The rainy weather brought to the local area by ?Hurricane Sandy has prompted several Halloween events to be changed or cancelled. The Boo at Paden City Park and the Haunted Forest at Frontier High School were cancelled.

Trick or treat times are as follows: Paden City, Nov. 1, 6-7 p.m.; New Martinsville, Nov. 1, 6-7 p.m.; Hundred, Nov. 3, 6-7:30 p.m.; and if it is raining for Smithfield’s regularly scheduled event on Oct. 31, 5-7 p.m Additional note: Smithfield did cancel Wednesday’s trick or treat and rescheduled it for Saturday, Nov. 3, from 4-6 p.m.
