State Trooper William N. Beck from the West Virginia State Police in Moundsville is investigating a breaking and entering that occurred at Simon’s Market, located on state Route 20 in Pine Grove. The break-in occurred at approximately 3:40 a.m. on Aug. 17. There are at least two individuals involved, one wearing a shirt with a #2, indicative of a NASCAR shirt. Beck states that over $2,000 and cartons of cigarettes were stolen out of Simon’s market. The suspects used crow bars and walkie talkies in the incident.
