Billiter, Craft Lead PCHS Class
Jamie “Jay” Edmund Billiter Jr., the son of Melinda and Jason Moser and Jamie and Sheree Billiter, led Paden City High School’s class of 2012 as its valedictorian at commencement exercises May 26.
Jay is the grandson of Denis and Teri Ritchie and Cindy Ritchie. His great-grandparents are Henry and Margaret Hartman.
Jay has participated in many extracurricular activities in the past four years at Paden City High School. He has received multiple letters in baseball, basketball, and football; he was also the student body vice president as well as the senior class president. Jay served as the president in both the National Honor Society and Mu Alpha Theta and has also participated in RAZE, the PCHS Quiz Bowl, Math Field Day, and many other clubs.
Jay is attending West Virginia University in the fall to begin his life goal of becoming a doctor.
Dominique Craft, the daughter of Ken and Bev Craft, was salutatorian of her class.
She participated and lettered in volleyball, basketball, cheerleading, and softball all four years of high school. She was also an OVAC Volleyball Player of the Year.
Dominique participated and lettered in track for two of her high school years and was in band for six years of school. She was also field commander.
Dominique was a member of the National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, and Raze, as well as student body president. She had a 3.86 GPA.
Dominique is attending Wheeling Jesuit to major in athletic training and hopefully one day become a physical therapist.
