Crosswalk Takes New Path

The annual Good Friday Community Crosswalk, sponsored by the New Martinsville Ministerial Association, will follow a different route this year. The walk will begin at the First Church of God, 255 Russell Avenue (adjacent to the Wetzel Chronicle office), at 11 a.m., and process up Hydro Drive to the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church for the Good Friday service.
All are invited to “follow the Cross” in this moving walk, whether walking the entire distance, or joining along the route on Hydro Drive. Transportation will be provided to take participants needing assistance up the grade at the end of Hydro Drive and then to return participants to their vehicles.
