WVNCC Partners With Mountain State
A newly signed agreement between West Virginia Northern Community College and Mountain State University allows WVNCC graduates from the business administration transfer option to transfer into a bachelor of science in accounting from MSU and earn a degree in as little as 23 months. All other business graduates from WVNCC also are eligible for this program once prerequisites are met.
The recently available bachelor’s degree program in accounting is the subject of an information session scheduled from 10 a.m. to noon on May 7, in the B&O Building auditorium at the WVNCC Wheeling campus.
Local residents and students with college credit from other institutions are encouraged to attend the information session to find out more about this degree program.
Classes will meet Saturdays on the WVNCC campus in Wheeling beginning in August. The Saturday scheduling accommodates students who are pursuing jobs or currently working full-time.
MSU’s accessible educational options include online bachelor’s degree programs in business and leadership, a master’s degree in strategic leadership and a doctorate in executive leadership.
All options will be discussed at the information session. MSU provides academic credit for many other college courses, qualifying training and certifications at no charge. Financial aid is available for qualified students, including special programs for veterans, active duty military and National Guard members.
