Residents of Wetzel County will be given the opportunity to dispose of unwanted items during area Spring Cleanups.

Residents of the City of New Martinsville are scheduled for pick-ups on the following dates and areas:

May 2, East side of Steelton; May 9, West side of Steelton; May 16, North Street to Williams Run; May 26, West side of Route 2 and Fishing Creek to William Run; and May 30, All Brooklyn areas.

All items to be picked up are to be placed at the edge of your property.

Do not place garbage with items that are to be collected. All materials should be bagged or boxed.

Brush should be tied with rope into bundles that one worker can handle.

Items not accepted are: refrigerators, perishable food items (place with regular garbage), tires, paint cans (only if tops are removed), liquids of any kind are not allowed, batteries, and no electronics such as computers, TVs, etc.

Put everything out on Sunday night before pick-up date in your area. They will pick up early and will not be back.

The Town of Hundred will pick up spring cleanup items for the town’s residents from May 2-4.

They will not pick up tires, batteries, or electronics.
