By Staff | Jan 28, 2026

The Linsly School is proud to announce that Chenbin Ren, a Grade 12 boarding student from New Martinsville, West Virginia, has been awarded a full four-year scholarship to Haverford College through the QuestBridge National College Match program.

Chenbin was selected as one of 2,550 students nationwide to receive a Match Scholarship in the 2025 QuestBridge National College Match, a highly competitive program that connects high-achieving students from low-income backgrounds with full scholarships to the nation’s top colleges and universities. He will enroll at Haverford College as a member of the Class of 2030.

The QuestBridge Match Scholarship includes early admission and covers the full cost of attendance, including tuition, housing and meals, books and supplies, and travel expenses. The scholarship does not require loans or a parental contribution, ensuring that financial circumstances do not limit access to a world-class education.

“Chenbin has worked with impressive focus, humility, and determination throughout his time at Linsly,” said Melissa Leone, Dean of the Upper School. “This scholarship is a reflection not only of his academic strength, but also of his character and willingness to challenge himself. We are excited to see him take this next step at Haverford.”

QuestBridge is a national nonprofit organization that partners with 55 leading colleges and universities. Since its founding more than 30 years ago, QuestBridge has helped connect over 19,000 students with full scholarships and supports a global network of more than 35,000 Scholars and Alumni.

Chenbin’s achievement reflects both his individual excellence and Linsly’s commitment to preparing students for success at the highest level.
