Antero Foundation Donates $181,000 to Regional Food Pantries
The Antero Foundation donated $181,000 to food pantries across Northcentral West Virginia and Southeast Ohio, building on Antero’s longstanding commitment to hunger relief and food security in the region.
Employee volunteers travelled across Antero’s operating area to hand deliver donations to food pantries in ten counties and two states. David Cava, Antero Director Community Relations, visited several pantries in Harrison County, “Seeing the shelves firsthand and getting to meet the representatives from these organizations really opened my eyes to how important this support truly is. I’m proud to work for a company that steps up for our community when it matters most.”
“Antero is proud to continue our support of local food pantries this holiday season,” said Conrad Baston, Antero Vice President Procurement and Administration. “Giving back to the communities where we operate is core to who we are, and we’re grateful to invest these dollars locally, helping those who truly need it.”
This year’s donations follow a similar effort in 2024, when the Antero Foundation contributed more than $160,000 to fight food insecurity in this region. Since the Antero Foundation’s inception, this initiative has provided nearly $850,000 to support food programs in Appalachia.
Founded in 2020, The Antero Foundation is a joint project between Antero Resources and Antero Midstream with a mission to expand on the values of community growth and volunteerism at Antero by building successful, thriving communities where Antero operates, and our employees work and live. The Foundation achieves its mission through making significant donations to organizations and local causes, while also encouraging employee volunteerism.
