Joellen Witschey Named Magnolia Valedictorian

Joellen Witschey is Magnolia's Class of 2025 valedictorian.
Joellen Witschey is the valedictorian for the Magnolia High School Class of 2025.
She is the daughter of Daniel and Amy Witschey of New Martinsville. During her time at Magnolia she has been involved in the theater department — playing roles in The Marvelous Wonderettes, Oklahoma!, Clue, and The Play That Goes Wrong. She is a member of the National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta Math Honor Society, Science National Honor Society, and is an Honors Thespian.
Having been in the Top 15 percent of her class in grades 5-12, Joellen is a member of the Wetzel County Schools Academic Hall of Fame. She has completed the Grow Your Own Pathway at the Wetzel County Tech Center, where she is also the co-vice president of the Educators Rising Chapter. Joellen plans to major in Elementary Education at West Virginia Wesleyan College beginning in August.
She attends the First Church of God in New Martinsville, where she serves faithfully in the nursery.
