New Martinsville Rotary Club Students of the Month

The New Martinsville Rotary Club met recently at Quinet’s Court Restaurant in downtown New Martinsville and honored the Students of the Month for the month of May 2025.
The Rotary club honors students each month throughout the school year and at the end of the school year they award scholarships to students selected in a drawing.
The last students of the month honored are Eden Harlan and Kelsyn Riggenbach.
Eden Harlan is the son of Jamie and Shawn Harlan of Proctor Creek Road. He is ranked 18th in his class at Magnolia high school and carries a 3.798 GPA. Eden is a member of the NTHS, FFA Vice President last year and is President this year.
He played football for the Blue Eagles and was a state qualifier as a Magnolia wrestler. His community activities include participating in youth football camps. His hobbies are playing sports, the outdoors, video games and taking care of animals.
Eden plans to attend Fairmont State University and major in Biology.
Kelsyn is the son of Matthew Riggenbach of New Martinsville. He is ranked 19th in his class at Magnolia high school and carries a 3.75 GPA. He is involved in Esports. He enjoys video games of driving. His future plans are to enter Trades Education and attend WV Northern Community College.
