Magnolia Senior Carson Glisan at the MOVTI (Mid Ohio Valley Technical Institute) in St Marys on Wednesday afternoon May 7, signed to attend LIUNA (Laborers’ International Union of North America) Apprentice Training Center through Local #1149. Glisan was the only student accepted this year. The signing was at the MOVTI because it is where he earned the selection to the apprentice program under Kenneth Collins, his instructor.

Local #1149 was represented by Justin Gray, Business Manager and Corey Dornon, the Training Center Director at the signing. Carson’s mother Lori Fike Wykert was at the signing with her son. “I am so proud of my son for his dedication and his acceptance into the LIUNA Apprentice Center, said Wykert.”
