The Wetzel County Board of Education approved a company to resurface track surfaces at a cost of $729,000 during its regular March 25 meeting.

The board unanimously approved the construction project for resurfacing track at New Martinsville School and Magnolia High School. Approval for the resurfacing of both New Martinsville and Magnolia tracks awarded to Hellas Construction Resurfacing of both New Martinsville and Magnolia tracks for $729,000 with the possibility of subsurface repair and regrading of Magnolia track for $186,500.
