At the New Martinsville School, Mrs. Ritz’s class recently celebrated learning about dairy farms and their adopted calf, Dahlia, by making butter. They began with liquid cream and shook it until it became solid butter. The children enjoyed the butter with cornbread, and some kids even tried a sip of buttermilk.
