Friends and family held a surprise 90th birthday party for Hubert Morris at the Wetzel County Senior Citizens Center on Friday evening, February 17, 2023. Fifty people were in attendance. Hubert was born on February 20, 1933, at a village called Dean, in Wetzel County’s Center District. He graduated from Hundred High School in 1951, served in the US Army from 1953 through 1955 as a Combat Engineer, and worked forty years at Weirton Steel as a Crane Operator. Hubert enjoys bowling, hunting, and meeting with friends at McDonalds and Burger King. He lives in the Steelton area of New Martinsville.
