Genesis New Martinsville Center enjoyed a Valentines Day Party on Tuesday, February 14, where residents enjoyed ice cream sundaes and special entertainment with Ben Tharp. Also the activities included the choosing of this years King and Queen.

Residents nominated three men and three women for King and Queen of Hearts. The nominations were then voted on by secret ballot. Nominees for Queen were Carol Carpenter, Marion Ward, and Mary Cecil. For King the nominees were Bruce Anderson, Henry Dick, and Andy Ellington.

Winners by majority vote were King Bruce Anderson and Queen Carol Carpenter. A good time was had by all.
